The 11 Important Ride Rules

1. Make sure your bike is fuelled up before departure time
2. Do not pass the road captain
3. Do not overtake on the left hand side
4. Ride to your own ability and not others
5. Ride in staggered formation - not side by side
6. Indicate and use “cross over manoeuvre” to fill gaps when they occur
7. Ride in the same lane as the Road Captain in a multi-lane highway
8. Always maintain a safe distance from the rider in front of you
9. A riders briefing will be held prior to departure
10. On winding or narrow roads staggered formation is not advised – use correct riding style for cornering but leave plenty of room between bikes for braking
11. All riders must have a current applicable licence
